Beattie is the managing editor for Creating Keepsakes scrapbook magazine and has been with the company since 2004. Brittany oversees the magazine process, writes articles and the Seasonal Solutions columns every month, edits the magazine content, and finds ways to bring scrapbookers the fresh, informative, and inspiring content they want to see. Her passion for scrapbooking lies in preserving life in a way that helps future generations. Brittany became interested in scrapbooking in the 1990s as a way to preserve memorabilia from the everyday activities of her life, and she has enjoyed preserving her memories in creative ways ever since. She began teaching at Creating Keepsakes Conventions in early 2006. Before joining the Creating Keepsakes team, she worked as a curriculum editor and as a writer/editor of oral and family histories. She received a master’s degree in English from Brigham Young University in 2004.

participating in sports, reading, spending time with family and friends, serving her community, and learning new skills. Brittany resides in Utah.
